Today Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey organized ICFAI in a private institute located in Nava Raipur. Participated in the first convocation of the University, Raipur. On this occasion, Governor Ms. Uike distributed degrees to 105 students including 23 gold and 19 silver medals of the university and congratulated them. He also congratulated all the parents and teachers of the institute for this achievement. On this occasion, the Governor advised the students to join the manufacturing sector of the country by becoming employment donors and not merely seeking employment. Along with this, he also asked the students to explore the possibilities of development of the country by engaging in research. Apart from this, while addressing the gathering, the Governor also asked all the educational institutions to make arrangements for better education as per the National Education Policy 2020.
Addressing the gathering at the function, the Governor said that this is the result of hard work of the convocation students. The journey of getting education starts with our temporary steps and takes us to the heights of life. He said that convocation is not the end of your initiation. Rather it is a part of the journey of your life. He told the students that all of you should become good human beings by getting good education. A good person is the builder of a good society.
Governor Ms. Uike said that your honesty towards work will shape your future. Today the students of the country need to bring a change in their thinking. Increase your knowledge through education. Quality education not only builds our potential but also develops it continuously. After studies, do not run after employment, but develop your potential and give employment to people. Be a successful entrepreneur, be a job creator. Along with ourselves, less skilled and other youth should also try to become employable. For this, by taking advantage of other schemes like Make in India, Startup Scheme and Mudra Yojana of the Government of India, give impetus to the programs related to strengthening the Indian manufacturing sector.
He said that a historic change has been made in the field of education in the National Education Policy 2020 brought by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This education policy will make wonderful progress in India, so that our students will come out of the universities by becoming efficient and ideal citizens. He said that linguistic differences are found in different geographical areas in our country. In the new education policy, there is a provision to provide elementary education in mother tongue. Along with this, now medical and technical education will also be done in the official language Hindi.
Considering the importance of research in the country, Governor Ms. Uike said that the number of students joining research after higher education is less. For the development of the country, it is very important for the students to join the research field. State government and universities will also have to make coordinated efforts to connect the students to research with the guidance of qualified teachers and better facilities. So that the students associated with research do not face any inconvenience in any way and students can contribute to the development of the country by joining research.
Appealing to the students who received the degree, the Governor said that after getting the degree, your responsibility towards your family, society and nation increases. So far everyone has given you something or the other. Now is your opportunity to discharge your duties towards your loved ones and your nation. Therefore, while being honest to the nation, become a partner in realizing the vision of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to establish India in the place of Vishwaguru.
On this occasion, the special spokesperson of the ceremony, former Chairman of ISRO and Padma Shri Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar shared his life experiences while congratulating all the students. He told the students that their technical knowledge and skills have to be enhanced to make the country an economic superpower. By this we will be able to solve our problems. For this, he told the need to keep learning continuously in life.
