Raipur. 29 September 2022. : Under the National Climate Change and Human Health Program in Chhattisgarh, a two-day national workshop was organized in the capital Raipur. It was organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with the Department of Health. In this national workshop organized in a private hotel on 28-29 September 2022, the increasing dangers of air pollution and its adverse effects on human health were discussed. The measures to avoid them were also given in the workshop.
On the first day of the workshop, on 28 September, all the participants were given a community tour to study the ill effects of air pollution on health. To understand the referral system, AIIMS Raipur and District Hospital, Raipur were also visited. In the workshop, the national level experts appreciated the Chhattisgarh model for the measures to prevent air pollution and public awareness in Chhattisgarh. He advised to adopt the steps being taken here in other states also.
