Online applications will be taken from October 1 to October 15, 2022, to empanel the news websites and portals of Chhattisgarh state for the next one year. Online applications can be submitted in the prescribed format for empanelment. The format of the application and the terms and conditions in this regard will be available on the website of Public Relations Department, jansampark.cg.gov.in .
Display advertisements for news websites and web portals are approved on the basis of need, utility, opportunity and budget availability in view of the utility and requirement of digital medium. Notwithstanding anything contained in the rules, any news website shall not have any right to receive official advertisements.
Generally, the portal and website fulfilling the following conditions will be recommended for empanelment by the committee-
The empanelment of news websites of Chhattisgarh state will be for a period of one year. The average unique user count of the news website should be 50 thousand during the last six months for empanelment. During this the average session duration should be minimum 30 seconds. Each website/portal should display the name of the owner, operator, editor, mobile number, e-mail, editorial office address of the website/portal on its home page. They will also have to update their websites/portals daily. The news website should be online for at least one year. The website name and Internet address (URL) have not changed during this period. The website/webportal uploading the activities of the State will be given priority in the advertisement. Simultaneously, the committee may verify the monthly view number user report through available technical tools such as reliable tariff analysis tools or any other means.
