Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel interacted with the general public and inquired about the status of implementation of the state government’s schemes in the meeting program at village Chaple of Kharsia Vidhan Sabha in Raigad district today. In his address on this occasion, he announced to give the third installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to the farmers at Deori Tihar. The Chief Minister urged the farmers to use vermi compost to maintain the quality and fertility of the land. He said that vermi compost is being made in the Gauthans of the state. It should be used more and more. Earlier, the Chief Minister started the meet-and-greet program by offering prayers to Chhattisgarh Mahtari.
Chief Minister made many big announcements
In the meeting program of Chaple, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel made many big announcements for the development of the area. He sanctioned Rs 10 lakh for starting Swami Atmanand English medium school in Chaple, organizing Kali Mata Mela annually, upgradation of Police Assistance Center in Chaple to police post, establishment of Police Assistance Center in Kotra, new community building and PDS building in Chaple. Announced approval for construction of CC road at four places in village Chaple, including construction of community health center, sonography and CT scan test facility in Kharsia, construction of boys and girls OBC hostel in Kharsia, approval for construction of railway overbridge at Naharpali level crossing.
On his arrival at the helipad, the people’s representatives and villagers gave him a warm welcome by presenting bouquets. Hardiya Marar Patel Samaj thanked the Chief Minister for the welfare schemes by weighing the Chief Minister with vegetables. In the meeting place, local women welcomed the Chief Minister by wearing a crown made of Chhind leaves. Sarva Adivasi Samaj honored the Chief Minister by wearing a crown made of bamboo and presented a temple. School Education Minister and Raigad district in-charge Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam and Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel were also present on the occasion.
Remembering Shaheed Nand Kumar Patel
The Chief Minister while initiating the meet-meet program said that we know Kharsia Vidhan Sabha by the name of Shaheed Nand Kumar Patel. He always raised his voice for the poor and the farmer. He said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh have believed in the son of the farmer. We started many schemes for all sections including loan waiver of farmers, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana.

I have bought a second hand car worth 1.5 lakh rupees. On this, the Chief Minister urged the farmers to use vermicompost in the fields and said that Kharsia, Pusaur has very fertile land but the fertility is getting depleted by chemical fertilizers. The use of vermi compost is increasing the fertility of the land, due to which farmers are getting more production. The land is getting hard with chemical fertilizers, the capacity of the tractor has to be increased for plowing. The cost of chemical fertilizers is also increasing, vermi compost is being made in 8000 Gauthans, which means there is a fertilizer factory in every Gauthan, it has to reach every village.
Children asked questions about startups
Shefali Ahmed of class 12th asked the Chief Minister about startups in Chhattisgarh, he asked that ‘Shark Tank’ was started to encourage young entrepreneurs starting startups by providing them support from big industrialists Is there any program being run on the lines? The family members of two little girls Komal and Payal met the Chief Minister and told him that these girls suffering from heart disease have been treated with the help of Dr.Khubchand Baghel Health Scheme and are now healthy. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. Laxmani Rathia of Jobi village of Kharsia told that her Ujala Mahila Self Help Group is associated with Godhan Nyay Yojana. This group earned a profit of Rs. 2 lakh 15 thousand by selling about 600 quintals of vermi compost, from which they bought computers for the children.
After reaching the village Nandeli, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the martyr Shri Nand Kumar Patel.
After meeting Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Nandeli village of Raigad district. There he paid tribute to the martyrs Shri Nand Kumar Patel and martyr Shri Dinesh Patel by paying floral tributes to them by reaching the Shanti Bagiya. Shri Nandkumar Patel and his young son Shri Dinesh Patel were martyred in the Jhiram Ghati Naxal attack of Bastar in the year 2013. Nandeli is the home village of Shri Patel. The Chief Minister reached the residence of martyr Shri Nand Kumar and also met his family members.
