Chhattisgarh’s Commerce and Industry and Excise Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma and delegation also participated in the two-day ‘Manthan’ program organized by the Central Road and Highways Department in Bangalore on multimodal connectivity to increase road connectivity in the country and facilitate traffic in remote areas. .
Addressing the inaugural session in the program, Union Minister for Roads and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari called upon the State Governments to create infrastructure for the smooth transportation of industrial products in the states to reduce the cost of production of road, water and other products. Rail transport needs to be upgraded. He asked the industries to come forward for the development of multimodal connectivity to increase the export of industrial products and asked the states to support NHAI. Along with it also called for the development of new industrial areas.
In this program, Mr. Praveen Shukla, Mr. Sanjay Gajaghate, Mr. O P Banjare, Mr. Jayant Devangan of Chhattisgarh’s Industries Department, NHAI along with Mr. K Shri Pipre was accompanied by other officials.
