In Chhattisgarh, the winds of women empowerment have started flowing fast in the remote forest areas. Through the group, women have now also taken responsibility for those works in which men have been monopolized. Women of self-help groups are successfully running dhaba near Bade Karli village, whose Gauthan campus. Bade Karli is a panchayat in Geedam block of Dantewada district. The women have named the dhaba as Manwa Dhaba. The taste of the food being served in the dhaba by the women of the group is such that the one who eats once comes here to eat again and again. Women have not only become self-reliant by running the dhaba, but have started giving a lot of help to their families. The women sisters involved in running the dhaba have done business worth Rs 8 to 10 lakh so far. Due to which he has earned a profit of Rs. Delighted with the success of the dhaba, women are going to start tiffin service soon. 

Due to the campaign of Chhattisgarh government to connect women with employment, business through groups, today women of rural areas are not only making themselves self-reliant by doing employment, but they have also become the support of their home. Similarly, women engaged in domestic work in Dantewada district are setting an example of successful operation and self-reliance of many small industries by joining self-help groups. Gauthan, located in the big Karli Panchayat, has become the center of employment and business of the villagers. In Gothan itself, many activities like community gardening are being conducted by self-help groups, along with purchasing dung from the dung collectors, making vermicompost and super compost, which has earned them an income of lakhs of rupees. Seeing the solidarity and success of 10 women of Boss Bodin self-help group running the dhaba, other women of the village are also moving towards standing on their own feet and becoming self-reliant.
