On the initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, four new Prayas residential schools will be started in the coming financial session 2023-24 under the Late Rajiv Gandhi Bal Bhavishya Suraksha Prayas Residential School Scheme for the students of Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and EWS category of the state. 500 seater for boys of scheduled caste category, 500 seater for girls and 500 seater for OBC and EWS category students and 500 seater for girl students of these classes thus started 4 residential schools of total 2000 seater capacity. will be done. In each residential school, 125-125 students will be given admission in class 9th. With the start of these 4 Prayas residential schools, a total of 2000 students will get the benefit of free residential education and coaching.
The officials of the Tribal Development Department said that the students admitted in these residential schools would have free arrangements for teaching from class 9th to 12th. Along with this, free coaching of various competitive exams like PMT PET, NSTE, JEE Main/Advance, AIIMS, NEET, CA/CS, CLAT, NDA etc. will also be provided by reputed coaching institutes to the students. He informed that with the start of four new Prayas schools in the state, a total of 2000 students of the respective cadre will get the benefit of Late Rajiv Gandhi Bal Bhavishya Suraksha Prayas Residential School Scheme.
