Establishment of Kindergarten on the theme of ‘Jabo Kindergarten Badabo Education’
Children in the age group of five to six years will get an opportunity to learn through sports.

According to the new education policy, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has launched the Balwadi scheme in the state on the occasion of Teacher’s Day on September 5 at his residence office to develop the ability of children to learn and understand in sports. The Balwadi scheme has been started by the School Education Department for the children in the age group of five to six years. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has started this scheme in the presence of Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam at the Chief Minister’s residence with the theme of ‘Jabo Balwadi Badhabo Shiksha Ke Gaadi’. Through the kindergarten scheme, children will be encouraged to learn and they will be prepared for the school environment. In addition to the Anganwadi helper, an assistant teacher of the affiliated primary school will also be deployed in every kindergarten for the children and for this an additional honorarium of Rs 500 will also be provided to the assistant teacher every month.
Special training has been given to Anganwadi assistants and teachers to make the children play and teach in an interesting manner. Approval of Rs. 01 lakh has also been given for each kindergarten for child-friendly furniture, sports equipment and printing prints. This year 5173 Balwadis have been started and in the coming years, Balwadis will be opened in all the areas of the State in a phased manner.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that scientists have found in their research that 85 percent of the development of the human brain takes place in childhood itself. What a child learns in his formative years helps him in school and later in life. Teaching should start only when the mind of the children is being prepared.
On the occasion of the launch of the scheme, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam said that the objective of the Balwadi scheme would be to act as a learning bridge for the mental, social, psychological and cognitive development of the children so that at the age of 05 to 06 years, When children go to the first grade, they should be fully prepared for it.
Giving information about the scheme, Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Shri Alok Shukla has said that this year 5173 Balwadis have been started and in the coming years, Balwadis will be opened in all the areas of the state in a phased manner.
On this occasion Agriculture, Water Resources, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Pradeep Sharma, Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary School Education Dr. S. Bharti Dasan, Special Secretary Agriculture Dr. Ayaz Tamboli, Managing Director of Composite Education Shri Narendra Dugga and other senior officers were present.
