Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today launched the 30th district of Sarangarh, Bilaigarh, in a huge function organized at Khel Bhantha Ground in Sarangarh. He also gifted development works worth Rs 540 crore for the development of infrastructure in the new district. He congratulated and congratulated Sarangarh for coming into existence as a new district of Bilaigarh. He said that 6 new districts have been created in the last 4 years to reduce the distance between the administration and the people. This will give a lot of convenience to the public.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister gifted development works worth Rs 540 crore for infrastructure facilities in the new districts. Mr. Baghel said that after 72 years of continuous struggle, Sarangarh has become a separate district. Many generations contributed in the struggle for the creation of the district. He said that Bilaigarh has played an important role in making Sarangarh a district. Sarangarh district has been formed only with the consent of the people of Bilaigarh. Shri Baghel said that Sarangarh has been the center of human civilization since the beginning. Along with many Shaktipeeths, there is a plurality of people who have faith in Baba Ghasidas ji. The Dussehra festival of Sarangarh is also famous like Bastar Dussehra. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that after Collector SP, other district level offices will also open soon.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that in the last 4 years, all round development works have been done in the state. We are firm on the announcement made regarding the purchase of paddy. Every year the purchase price is increasing. He said that the number of farmers selling paddy has increased by 11 lakh in the last four years. Now about 26 lakh farmers are selling paddy. All the farmers and villagers are happy with the policy of the government. The crop is growing in the fields. The Chief Minister informed that so far dung worth Rs 150 crore has been purchased. After cow dung, now the purchase of cow urine has also been done from Gothano. Due to all this, organic farming is being promoted. Along with the purchase of Tendu leaves in 4 thousand per standard sacks, 65 types of minor forest produce are being procured by the government. Employment opportunities have increased in Chhattisgarh in the last 4 years. Gothans have become important centers of employment. As a result of all this, Chhattisgarh has become the state with the lowest unemployment rate in the country.
He said that 279 Atmanand Schools have been opened in the field of education. Work is underway on an action plan to open 422 more schools. English medium colleges have also been opened. In order to improve the health system, 4 new medical colleges have also been opened in four years. Along with hot market clinics, Dhanwantri is also providing cheap medicines from generic medical stores to the people. The Chief Minister said that we do not consider distributing Rewari to help in raising the standard of living of the people through various schemes. This is our duty in a democracy. Public representatives, officials and villagers were present on this occasion.
