General Administration Department issued orders to Heads of Departments and Collectors

Action will be taken against the employees involved in continuous strike from August 22 as per the circular issued in the year 2006.

They should be paid salaries by sanctioning leave for the strike period from July 25 to July 29, 2022. It has been said in the issued instructions that action should be taken as per the circular issued by the General Administration Department on April 10, 2006, regarding the absence of the employees who were on strike from July 25 to July 29 and are in continuous strike since August 22, 2022. Disciplinary action will be taken as per the instructions issued in the said circular. In case of going on mass leave without prior approval or strike salary etc. will not be payable, nor will leave for days of such absence be sanctioned. No salary etc. will be payable for the period of such days and this period will be treated as break-in-service.

In addition to the above, whenever such acts are done by the government servants, the competent authority may order disciplinary action against those committing such gross indiscipline on the basis of merits.
