Glimpses of rich culture of Chhattisgarh seen in Tukni

Today, when Shri Amit Shah will return to Delhi, he will be able to catch a glimpse of the rich culture of Chhattisgarh and taste the delicious Chhattisgarhia cuisine in a tukni presented by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the newly constructed building of NIA, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that today the Union Home Minister has come to Raipur on a very auspicious occasion. Today the festival of Pola is being celebrated in Chhattisgarh. This is a very special folk festival of Chhattisgarh. Especially this festival is associated with the hopes and aspirations of the farmers.
It may be known that earlier Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel had called Shri Amit Shah and invited him to the Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion of Pola and Teej on 27th August. The Chief Minister had told Shri Shah that Chhattisgarh is a state associated with its Teej-festivals and culture. The color of the rich folk culture of Chhattisgarh is seen in all the festivals. The culture here is very rich. On your arrival in Chhattisgarh, we would like to introduce you to its glimpse. The residents of Chhattisgarh state celebrate their festivals associated with Chhattisgarh Mahtari with great pomp and gaiety.
Although Mr. Amit Shah could not attend the event, the Chief Minister presented him a tukni full of cultural colors of Chhattisgarh on this special occasion before his departure.
Tukni included ingredients of Nandi, Jaata, Pola, Chukiya, Suhag as well as delicious Chhattisgarhi dishes – Chakoli, Typhari, Khurmi, Airsa and Saloni on the occasion of Pola.
