Sisters of Bihaan prepared ‘Bhorbandhan’ brand rakhis being sold in C-Mart and Collectorate premises
Raipur, 03 August 2022 The holy festival of Rakshabandhan of brothers and sisters will be celebrated on August 11 of this month. In view of the holy festival of Raksha Bandhan, the women’s self-help group of Bihan in Kawardha district has made all the preparations to decorate Raksha Bandhan in the wrists of the brothers. This time he has named the Rakhi made by him as ‘Bhor Bandhan’, the price of Bhorbandhan Rakhi starts from Rs 20 and ranges from Rs 35 to 40 in different varieties. Seven different counters have also been set up in Kabirdham district for the sale of Bhor Bandhan Rakhis, in which Bhorbandhan brand Rakhis will be available in Collectorate premises, C-mart and Janpad Panchayat headquarters of all development blocks of the district. These rakhis are attractive as well as the seeds of paddy, rice, wheat, gourd have been used to make rakhis, due to which the importance of this holy festival has increased further. On the very first day, there has been information about good sale of Bhorbandhan Rakhis of women’s groups. The women of the women’s self-help group of Rajnawagaon told that their group has worked twice as hard in making rakhis. In a very short span of time, the group has created 800 hundred Rakhis. Will be increased further based on market demand. Women’s group of Kabirdham district, which is moving towards self-reliance and self-reliance, has prepared 6 thousand rakhis in a short time. Collector Shri Janmejay Mahobe informed that work is being done to make Rakhis and provide free market to 17 active women self-help groups by linking them with the economic development and employment oriented activities of the government. At present, more than 6 thousand 600 rakhis have been prepared by these groups under the name Bhorbandhan. Based on the demand of the market, clusters are being prepared to make about 30 thousand rakhis.
