Raipur 02 August 2022 Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the newly constructed building of Late Ramprasad Devangan Government College at Kharora in Raipur district. This new building of the college has been built at a cost of Rs.3 crore 91 lakh. The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of Danveer Dau Shri Ramprasad Ji Devangan of the area in the college premises itself. During this, Mr. Baghel addressed the public and distributed material to the beneficiaries under the schemes of the government. About four hundred students will get better facilities for studying in Kharora College- About four hundred students are studying nearby in the newly constructed building of Late Ramprasad Devangan Government College in Kharora. Earlier the students of Kharora had to go to Raipur-Palari-Bilaspur for college studies. Along with staying away from home, other inconveniences were also faced by the students. In such a situation, a government college was started in Kharora in 2017. This college was named after the popular charity of the area and Dau Late Ramprasad Ji Devangan, who was always in the forefront of the education of children. The new building of this college has been prepared at a cost of Rs.3 crore 91 lakh. This building, prepared on the ground floor and first floor in an area of 2100-2100 sq.m., includes principal room, vice principal room, staff room, office, sixteen class rooms, five laboratory rooms, library room, computer room, examination control room, common room. Eight store rooms have also been made. In this college, the classes of the Faculty of Science are being conducted in the subjects of Arts, Commerce and Mathematics.
