Earlier the students of Kharora had to go to Raipur-Palari-Bilaspur for college studies. Along with staying away from home, other inconveniences were also faced by the students. In such a situation, a government college was started in Kharora in 2017. This college was named after the popular charity of the area and Dau Late Ramprasad Ji Devangan, who was always in the forefront of the education of children. The new building of this college has been prepared at a cost of Rs.3 crore 91 lakh. This building, prepared on the ground floor and first floor in an area of 2100-2100 sq.m., consists of Principal’s Room, Vice-Principal Room, Staff Room, Office, Sixteen Class Rooms, Five Laboratory Rooms, Library Room, Computer Room, Eight store rooms including examination control room, common room have also been made. In this college, the classes of the Faculty of Science are being conducted in the subjects of Arts, Commerce and Mathematics.
