The Chief Minister said that the average fish productivity of our state has reached 4000 metric tonnes per hectare. Progressive fish farmers have started producing 8000 to 10,000 metric tonnes per hectare by rearing improved species. The nature and environment of Chhattisgarh is completely conducive for fish farming. He has said that the geographical position of our state is also such that there is a lot of potential for fisheries business here. Now a favorable environment for fish is available in the state. This effort is being made by the government to increase fish production. Now along with villages, big dams are also being used for fish farming. Even in the courtyard of the house, you can do fish farming by making a tank. He said that the fish farmers should be given 7. A provision of 40 percent grant-in-aid has been made on a unit of Rs 50 lakh. The Chief Minister said that the schemes made by the government for the fishermen community should be prepared and distributed to the members of the society by making pamphlets and giving information about it in social meetings.
