Chief Minister—i Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep grief over the death of 05 workers in the incident of lightning in Mahasamund district. He has directed the Collector to provide better treatment facilities to the 06 workers injured in the incident. Mr. Baghel gave RBC to the families of each worker who died in the accident. Instructions have also been given to sanction assistance amounting to Rs. 04-04 lakh as per the provisions of 6-4. It is noteworthy that Kumari Janaki, Kumari Laxmi Yadav, Smt. Basanti Nag, Smt. Jamovati, Smt. Noharmati died due to lightning in village Ghatkachar under Thana Singhoda of Mahasamund district. In this incident, Mrs. Pankajni Yadav, Mrs. Parvati Malik, Mrs. Tapaswani, Mrs. Punni, Mrs. Geetanjali, Mrs. Shashi I have been injured, who are undergoing treatment at Saraipali health centre.
