The freshness of the Hareli festival, which is embedded in the soul of Chhattisgarh, has increased further today. The credit for this goes to the government of Hon’ble Chief Minister of the state, Shri Bhupesh Baghel.

Hareli is a regional festival of our Chhattisgarh state as well as the identity of Chhattisgarh. Hareli festival evokes a sense of love and devotion towards nature.

The way Chhattisgarh government has launched schemes like ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ and ‘Narva, Garwa, Ghurva, Bari’ regarding this festival related to its land is unprecedented.

On this day two years ago ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ was started which is proving to be most effective in the development of villages today.

Hareli is the first festival of the farmers of Chhattisgarh in which all the farmer brothers of the state worship their agricultural implements like plow, axe, sickle, picket and shovel.

On the day of Hareli festival, everyone’s favorite dish Chila is made in every village and every household of Chhattisgarh, which also has a special significance. By offering rice made of rice flour and coconut, the farmers also offer it in their fields, so that their new year’s harvest fills everyone’s life with a new warmth and aura.

On the auspicious day of festival like Hareli festival, the children of the village enjoy it while thanking their nature deity by climbing a gedi.

Hareli means greenery and this is the reason that even today the people of Chhattisgarh are very attached to this culture and to preserve it is like saving their soul.

On this most beautiful festival of Hareli, we tried to know from our state’s pride Padmashree Smt. Shamshad Begum, who connected women with a huge group like 5000 women self-help, that they are ‘in the direction of saving the Teej-festival’ by the Chhattisgarh government. How do you see the new effort being made? ,

Regarding Hareli, Mrs. Shamshad Begum said thatRegarding Hareli, Mrs. Shamshad Begum said that

Hareli festival is the first and very important festival of the farmers of Chhattisgarh. Not only this, Chhattisgarh is called the bowl of rice, here really paddy and farmers are our pride.

Ever since Shri Bhupesh Baghel ji became the Chief Minister in the state, he has paid a lot of attention to the farmers till date. Today the stream of development is flowing in rural areas through Gauthans in villages. Women of our group have become financially prosperous with ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’. This scheme is very beneficial scheme for rural development.

The women of our group are doing organic farming there today by developing Gauthans as energy parks.
‘Narwa, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari’ Chhattisgarh state is today an example for other states in the form of four symbols of Chhattisgarh. Due to these schemes of Hon’ble Chief Minister, today the concept of rural development is seen to be successful. The way the present state government has given prominence to Teej-festivals, it is less to thank them for it. Today children eagerly wait for this festival because the Chief Minister has created greenery in the minds of children by declaring a separate government holiday for this festival.

I would like to personally thank Shri Bhupesh Baghel ji, the head of our state, who is writing a new chapter of rural development, personally and on behalf of my women’s self-help. The way in which the Chief Minister has implemented meaningful and commendable schemes to connect his roots with the land, it is the new identity of our state. ,

To know a little more detail about the importance of Hareli and the efforts of the Government of Chhattisgarh, we also talked to the famous litterateur and cultural worker of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ramesh Anupam ji.

Mr. Ramesh Anupam ji says

Mr. Ramesh Anupam ji saysHareli is not an ordinary Teej festival of Chhattisgarh, but it is an extraordinary and auspicious festival created in the soul of the people of Chhattisgarh. It is unfortunate that after the state of Chhattisgarh came into existence, no state government has paid attention to the Teej, festivals, folk traditions and folk culture that have been created in the soul of Chhattisgarh in the same way as the present day state’s. Successful Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is giving. For the first time in the state, any government and Chief Minister tried to identify the original soul of Chhattisgarh and are also seen involved in the Bhagirathi effort to re-establish it.

Hareli is a unique tableau of the folk life of Chhattisgarh, which is a symbol of fervent love for nature. For the last three years, the way the state’s chief Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is engaged in the promotion and preservation of the folk culture of Chhattisgarh, it is not only an intact effort to revive the identity of Chhattisgarh, but it is also a search for that extinct Chhattisgarh which is a part of the villages. He resides in the village and whose soul is the village. ,

In order to preserve the Teej-festival and culture of its state, the Chhattisgarh State Government is not only continuously launching new schemes, but is also succeeding in forging a new Chhattisgarh through it.
