Contributed to setting up 100 bed hospital and equipment in Korba

Raipur 19 April 2020.Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has appreciated the cooperation being provided by the industrial institutions of Chhattisgarh in providing medical material for the prevention of infection of Kovid-19 and providing relief to the needy people.
For prevention and prevention of corona infection, 1000 PPE kits have been provided by M / s Jindal Steel & Power Limited Raigad, 1000 PPE kits by M / s Bharat Aluminum Company Limited BALCO and 500 bottle sanitizers of 500 ML and 5000 surgical masks. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Industries Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma thanked these industrial institutions for their help. Industries Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma has handed over 300 PPE kits to District Bastar and 200 PPE kits to District Administration Sukma.
Towards fighting Kovid-19, about 1000 needy citizens are providing ready meals daily by BALCO. With the help of public representatives, needy families were identified in Balko region, providing 1 month dry ration to 500 families. Sanitization has been done in various wards of Balco Township, Plant Complex, Balconagar, Government Offices of Balco Hospital, Korba and Katghora.
BALCO has also contributed to the establishment of a 100-bed hospital and availability of various equipment under the guidance of the administration at the ESIC Hospital Complex in Korba. In addition 10,000 masks have been distributed in the community. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur has been provided 1000 PPE kits, 5000 masks and 500 sanitizers in coordination with the Department of Industries. In Korba, two Correntine centers, one Hotel Railxin and Hotel Green Park have been built, with a total of 62 rooms. The Chief Minister and the Industry Minister have appreciated this initiative of the state’s industrial institutions for prevention of Kovid-19.
