Out of these, about 01.20 lakh structures completed so far have treated more than 4 thousand acres of Vananchal land. Under this, by the construction of all 1.67 lakh structures of 30-40 models, about 7 thousand acres of unfertile and barren land of Vananchal will get the benefit of treatment.
Under CAMPA’s Annual Action Plan 2019-20 in Narva Development Program, out of total approved 56 thousand 126 structures in 30-40 model, construction of all 56 thousand 126 structures has been completed so far. Similarly, under the Annual Action Plan 2020-21, construction of 46 thousand 938 structures has been completed so far out of 57 thousand 341 structures approved in 30-40 model. Apart from this, construction of 17 thousand 353 structures has been completed so far out of total approved 53 thousand 463 structures in 30-40 model under CAMPA’s Annual Action Plan 2021-22.
Keeping in view its usefulness in Narva Vikas Yojana, according to the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that this structure is very useful for Vananchal. In view of this, he has directed to include the construction works of 30-40 models on priority in the up- or downhill areas located in Vananchal of the state. It is worth mentioning that about 30-40 models being built under Narva Vikas Yojana, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Forest Force Chief Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi and Chief Executive Officer of CAMPA Shri V. Srinivas Rao said that this model is very suitable in the areas of Vananchal where the soil depth is 0.60 meters and clayey soil, light rocky land, non-fertile land, small shrub forest and barren land. After a few days from its construction, the land of the said areas starts becoming fertile. In the 30-40 model, the rain water is collected through small chocked bunds. 20 x 1.40 x 0.90 m are filled in a pit and by making it in series, the moisture in the said site remains for extra time. By working in this method, rain water can be stopped for a long time.
