Raipur, 17 April 2020 / AIIMS has been discharged from AIIMS Raipur after a patient infected today. Three corona infected patients were found in Katghora last night, who have been admitted to AIIMS Raipur for treatment. Treatment of 12 patients continues in AIIMS Raipur, whose health is constantly improving. So far 24 patients infected with corona in the state have returned home after recovering.
A sample of 5776 potential individuals of the corona virus was identified and tested in the state of Chhattisgarh till 17 April. So far, 5484 results have been received negatively and 256 samples are under investigation. Since March 19 till date, 36 patients have been infected with corona, after treatment, 24 patients have gone to their homes after recovering.
As well as ensuring strict adherence to the lockdown to prevent the spread of corona virus infection in the state, 65,911 people including those from abroad and other states who have come to Chhattisgarh are in the home quarantine. Along with the constant monitoring of the health of the people living in the home quarantine, there is a constant appeal to them to strictly follow the rules and not go out of the house. In the State Command and Control Center here today, the Secretary of Health Department, Smt. He also instructed to take random samples of people on the basis of symptoms in villages adjacent to Katghora. In the meeting, he also gave necessary guidelines regarding the early introduction of pull tests for the identification of corona infection.
