Chief Minister Mr. Baghel hit a four on the ball of Minister Mr. Dahria 20 July 2022
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated a stadium built at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore at Kumhari. The first match held in 
this newly constructed stadium is forever recorded in the memory of the citizens of Kumhari. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was the batsman in the cricket match and the ball was in the hands of Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Dahria. The umpire declared the first hair that the Minister of Urban Administration had cast as white. The Chief Minister was startled on the second hair of the minister and the entire stadium reverberated with applause. The Chief Minister praised the construction work of the stadium and said that such sports infrastructure would boost the morale of the players and would help in nurturing the sports talent in Kumhari.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated construction works worth 42 crores and also performed Bhoomi Pujan. These works include dedication work worth Rs 10 crores and Bhoomi Pujan work of 31 crores. The Chief Minister also announced to name the stadium after the late Mini Mata on the proposal of the citizens of Kumhari. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that continuous development works are being done in Kumhari Municipality, today a grand stadium and municipal building have been inaugurated here. Both the construction work has been done very well.
The Chief Minister said that rapid development work is being done in Kumhari from the point of view of civic infrastructure. Construction works worth Rs 100 crore have been done in the last 3 years and work is going on some. The Chief Minister said that whether the pond is a matter of beautification, Swami Atmanand School or the construction of a college for higher education. The government is working towards the all-round development of the potter. On this occasion, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Dahria said that under the guidance of the Chief Minister, construction works are being done at a rapid pace and civic amenities are being developed in Kumhari Municipality. Municipality President Shri Rajeshwar Sonkar expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister. During this, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Mahadev Kande, IG Mr. Badri Narayan Meena, Collector Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Meena and SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav were present.
