Administrative approval of Rs. 1 crore 99 lakh 87 thousand has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdev Ganga Cachar Ambikapur for the construction of earthworks, pucca structures and pucca channel in the canal of Saliadih reservoir under Batauli development block of Surguja district by the Ministry of Water Resources Department. With the completion of the above work, in addition to meeting the shortfall of 122 hectares in the irrigation capacity of the canal, a total of 202 hectares can be supplied water for irrigation.
