Prescription dose on completion of six months or 26 weeks of second dose under Kovid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav campaign

 In Chhattisgarh also, to prevent corona, all people above 18 years of age will be given free precaution/booster dose from July 15. Such people of this age group, who have completed 6 months or 26 weeks of second vaccination of Kovid vaccine, will be given precaution/booster dose at all government Kovid vaccination centers. Under the Kovid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav campaign, about one crore 70 lakh people will be given precaution/booster dose across the state. For this, all eligible persons can register themselves on the Kovin app from July 14. 

State Nodal Officer for Corona Vaccination and Director of National Health Mission Shri Bhoskar Vilas Sandipan informed that preparations have been completed to provide free vaccination/booster dose to all eligible people above 18 years of age in the state to prevent corona infection. The vaccination officers of all the districts have been asked to do immunization by doing microplanning with orientation. Precaution/booster dose like first and second dose will also be given free of cost to people between 18 years to 59 years at all government COVID vaccination centers in the state. Shri Bhoskar informed that sufficient quantity of vaccines are available in the state for this. This special vaccination campaign will run for 75 days from 15th July to 30th September 2022 on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. The vaccine given in the first and second doses will also be given in the form of prevention/booster dose.  

At present, precaution/booster dose was being given free of cost to the elderly, health workers and frontline workers above 60 years of age in the state. Under the Kovid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav campaign, now about one crore 70 lakh people of the state will be vaccinated. So far eight lakh 52 thousand 381 people have been given precaution/booster dose in the state.
