Divisional, district and block level officers will do surprise inspection of 10-10 schools

Surprise inspection and monitoring of all schools in the state will be done from July 18 to July 30. The officers of the School Education Department have been allotted the district and entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring random inspection and monitoring of educational institutions. In the new academic session, especially in schools, absence or late attendance of teachers and head readers, attendance of students, implementation of prayer, teaching work being done by teachers according to the prescribed academic calendar, bagless day observance, school scheduled time- According to the table, the implementation of other works including mid-day meal scheme will be evaluated.
Secretary, School Education Department, Shri S. Bharathidasan has directed all the inspecting officers that to ensure speedy disciplinary action against teachers, head readers, principals who come to school late and absent, the Block Education Officer, District Education Officer, Divisional Joint Director, Director and Additional Secretary should be sent the same. The day must be proposed by WhatsApp. 
During the surprise inspection, information about teachers present in schools, absent on time, coming late, leaving school before time will be taken. The level of attendance and quality of students in the schools will be observed. The academic level of the students will be tested on their reading, writing, comprehension, expression and proficiency in science and maths. Information will be taken by the inspection team about the remedial efforts being made for quality improvement and 100% attendance among the students. Regular prayer meetings and bagless-day activities in schools, adherence to the prescribed academic calendar, maintenance of teacher diaries and teaching will also be looked into. Similarly, the operation of the mid-day meal scheme, along with the honorarium of the cooks, the Rural Industries Park of the village, Is there a linkage with Gauthan or not? This information will also be taken. Under the Maati Pujan campaign, the production of greens and vegetables in the school premises will also be inspected. Along with the operation of the laboratory in the school, the details of the materials available in the laboratory will also be collected. The status of the building of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht School, information about the ongoing construction works, appointment of principal-teachers according to the sanctioned post, admission of students according to the sanctioned number of posts, as well as the status of the library, laboratory room and sports ground. Will be reviewed. 
Secretary, School Education Department, Shri S. Bharathidasan has given instructions to conduct surprise inspection of minimum 10-10 schools (higher secondary, high school, primary) in the districts under the working area by all the divisional joint directors, subordinate deputy directors, assistant directors. All District Education Officers, Subordinate Assistant Directors, District Project Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha, Principal will conduct surprise inspection of at least 10-10 schools by DIET. Similarly, all the Block Education Officers, Development Block Resource Coordinators, Assistant Development Block Education Officers conduct surprise inspections of at least 10-10 middle and primary schools under their jurisdiction and at least 5-5 middle schools by the Principal of all high secondary schools, cluster coordinators in their respective packages. and will conduct a surprise inspection of the primary school.  
All the District Education Officers will submit a brief report with their opinion to the Divisional Joint Director by August 5 for necessary action regarding the inspection done by the field officers subordinate to them. After reviewing these inspection works, all the divisional joint directors will make available their brief report and clear opinion for necessary action by August 10 and all state level officers will make their report available to the Under Secretary, Ministry of School Education, Mr. Anvesh Ghritalhare before August 5.
