Chief Secretary Shri R.P. The board said that in Chhattisgarh, 4933 persons were tested in which 31 positive and 4902 negative tests were found. This is the lowest in India. Out of 28 districts, 23 districts do not have any Kovid-19 patients. The Chief Secretary said that 1700 beds dedicated hospital / unit with 500 beds is ready for prevention and treatment of infection of Kovid-19. Apart from this, sufficient quantities of rapid testing kits, personal protective equipment (PPE) kits and other materials are available.
The cabinet secretary has instructed that by the next 20 th, testing should be done to see which tasks can be done by social distancing and physical distancing. Work done under MNREGA in rural areas, water conservation, roads, ponds etc. can be done by social distancing and physical distancing, so that employment can be provided in rural areas. Apart from this, industries can be started in industrial areas when there is a provision of living, eating etc. of workers within the campus. Inter state traffic will be banned. There was a need to strictly follow the lockdown in the hotspot areas. Apart from this, the State Government can take a decision by 20th date for agricultural work, rural development work and other employment oriented work in rural areas.
