Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike attended the meditation session organized at Raj Bhavan,

Meditation and Yoga are the products of our ancient culture. Meditation relieves mental stress. Also the outlook is positive. Meditation is the medium through which we can awaken the inner energy. The Governor said this. The Governor was addressing a special meditation session organized on the occasion of Guru Purnima in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan. It is worth mentioning that a special meditation session was organized for the officers and employees of Raj Bhavan Secretariat at Raj Bhavan today.  
Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike said that in ancient times our sages used to do meditation to awaken their spiritual power. He said that due to the modern run-of-the-mill life, we are passing through many types of mental stress. Due to this we are coming in the grip of many diseases. Young people are going through a period of mental depression at an early age. In the Corona era, this situation has become even more serious. All such mental problems of life can be solved with meditation. Meditation makes us mentally strong. With its continuous practice, we can get rid of all the stress and frustrating situations of life.
He said that if we want to lead a healthy life, then we should take out time from our busy routine and do yoga and meditation. With the help of this, we will be mentally and physically healthy and will be able to discharge our duties well.
Yogi Swami Mahesh said that yoga, pranayama and meditation are very necessary to keep the body healthy. Through these we can maintain the balance of energy of the body. He said that through yoga and meditation we can control and clean our mind. Swami Mahesh also gave information about the seven chakras of the body and said that by awakening these chakras through yoga practice, we can increase our physical capacity. Apart from this, Swami Mahesh, while giving information about Ashtanga Yoga to the officers and employees, appealed to everyone to do yoga and meditation. In this meditation session, Dr. Anil Gupta told the importance of our ancient Vedic science. He said that modern medicine is necessary to keep the body healthy, but yoga and meditation are very necessary to increase the energy, capacity of our body.
In the program, Governor Ms. Uike honored Yogi Swami Mahesh by wearing a memento and a gamchha. Swami Mahesh also honored the Governor Ms. Uike by wearing a gamcha. On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor Shri Amrit Kumar Khalkho, Legal Advisor to the Governor Shri Rajesh Shrivastava, Deputy Secretary to the Governor Shri Deepak Kumar Agrawal and all the officers and employees of Raj Bhavan were present.
