Raipur 15 April 20. The traffic police cut the challan of the Health Department team going to sample the suspect of corona virus infection in the capital Raipur. Police has imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on the challan of four members of this health department. The Health Department team was going back to office after collecting the samples, during this time the traffic police at Shastri Chowk caught them and cut the challan for not wearing the helmet.
CMHO of Raipur Health Department, Dr. Meera Baghel says that the law is equal for all. The traffic police has done their duty under the rules and when our staff was driving a motor cycle without a helmet, then the action is taken by the police. A challan of 2 thousand rupees has been deposited on our behalf, and has also been advised to our employees.
Raipur Traffic DSP Satish Singh Thakur says about this whole case that on Tuesday, more than 300 challan actions have been taken at different police checking points in the capital. Whoever does not follow the traffic rules, action will be taken.
