On the instructions of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, administrative approval of Rs 4 crore 8 lakh 98 thousand has been received for single village tap water supply scheme in Bilaspur district. In this connection, an order to this effect has been issued from the office of Collector and President, District Water and Sanitation Mission, Bilaspur. Under the order issued, Rs 24 lakh 80 thousand in Thakurkapa village under Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district, Rs 49 lakh 72 thousand in Parsakapa, Rs 37.58 lakh in Kathmuda, Rs 49.13 lakh in Lidri and Rs 42.09 lakh in Barhi, Rs 43.28 lakh in Sarseni. , Rs 43.89 lakh in Tikri (Khas), Rs 23.39 lakh in Limha (Bawapara), Rs 45.17 lakh in Limha (Phultarai) and Rs 49 in Silyari (Siyari) under Bilha block. Administrative approval has been given for single village tap water supply scheme costing Rs 93 lakh. Under this scheme, 883 houses in ten villages will be supplied with pure drinking water. It is noteworthy that in the rural areas of the state, pure drinking water is being supplied under the Jal Jeevan Mission being run for pure drinking water.
