Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs.15 crore 94 lakh 20 thousand for six irrigation projects in the state.
Two crore 11 lakh 78 thousand rupees have been approved for the construction of a pucca channel in the canal under the Sedam diversion scheme of development block-Batauli of Surguja district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 202 hectare area. One crore 99 lakh 87 thousand rupees have been approved for earthwork, pucca structures and pucca channel construction work in the canal of Saliadih reservoir of Batauli development block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 202 hectare area.
Five crore 92 lakh 42 thousand rupees have been approved for the restoration work of Tamta reservoir scheme of development block-Pathalgaon in Jashpur district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 1160 hectare area. Two crore 24 lakh 62 thousand rupees have been approved for the construction work of Kododhara Reservoir Scheme of Development Block Garden. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 195 hectares of Kharif area. CC in the main canal of Udnapur reservoir scheme under Khadganwa development block of Korea district. Two crore 61 lakh 32 thousand rupees have been approved for the work of drain construction, cleaning the canal bed and raising the height of the bank. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 403 hectare area. One crore four lakh 19 thousand rupees have been approved for the restoration work of Chanderpur reservoir of Bhaiyathan’s development block of Surajpur district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 214 hectare area.
