Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel presented a book based on the personality and work of former Rajya Sabha MP Late Shri Ramadhar Kashyap, leader of the Chhattisgarh State Construction Movement, in a program organized at Lakhiram Auditorium in Bilaspur today. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on this occasion that late Shri Ramadhar Kashyap ji has played a leading role in the Chhattisgarh state building movement. He was a very simple and easy going person. Late Kashyap ji was greatly influenced by Dr. Khubchand Baghel, the visionary of the creation of a separate Chhattisgarh state. The contribution of Late Shri Kashyap ji in the movement for the creation of a separate Chhattisgarh state will be unforgettable. He also inspired others to participate in the state building movement. Late Shri Kashyap highlighted the importance of preserving Chhattisgarhi folk culture and announced the creation of a separate Chhattisgarh state to liberate the common people from exploitation and injustice. Late Shri Kashyap ji had drawn the attention of the whole country to the problems of Chhattisgarh by throwing a form in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1969 regarding the creation of a separate Chhattisgarh state.
