Raipur,04 July 2022.According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Surguja, Jashpur, Mahasamund, Bijapur and Narayanpur districts in the next 24 hours. Along with this, there is also a possibility of falling lightning.

Orange alert means that the administration should be ready to deal with the situation and vigilance should be taken. There is a possibility of lightning in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg also. Through this warning, it has been asked to be careful and updated.⁰

Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form in the next 24 hours. The Monsoon trough extends up to an altitude of 1.5 km from Anupgarh, Gwalior, Sidhi, Jamshedpur, Digha and then eastwards to north-east Bay of Bengal.

Rainfall up to 7 cm has been recorded in Bakwand and 6 cm in Durg. Orchha, Bastar, Odgi, Duldula, Churia, Kunkuri, Balrampur, Pusaur, Katekalyan, Dongargarh have also rained water. On the other hand, Rajm, Raigad, Jagdalpur, Gundardehi, Pendra Road, Rajnandgaon, Bagbahara also have a lot.
