raipur, 03 July 2022/ Chief Minister on Sunday inquired about the well being of newbie mothers Phoolbasia and Santoshi in the maternity ward and presented them a basket of fruits, birth certificates of their babies and a cheque of Rs 1400 under Janani Suraksha Yojana. He was on a visit to Pondi Primary Health Center as a part of his meet and greet campaign.
Chief minister embraced 7-month-old baby girl Garima of Staff Nurse Unita Singh who accompanied her mother on duty. “She will also become a doctor”, said Mr. Baghel while lovingly looking at the baby.
The Chief Minister inspected various facilities available at the health centre including OPD, registration counter, nurse room and maternity ward. He inquired about the condition of Mrs. Sumati Devi, a resident of village Sakaria, admitted at the health centre for the treatment of malaria fever.
PHC staff informed the chief minister that this health center was established in 1967. The number of deliveries at the centre is around 50 to 60 per month. The staff presented a memento to the Chief Minister. He urged the doctors and staff to serve people with integrity and dedication.
