Admission to students in new schools from July 1
Instructions to collectors to fill educational and non-educational posts and make necessary arrangements for new schools

In compliance with the announcement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, 76 new Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools are being started in the state by the School Education Department from this academic session. Students will be given admission in these new schools from July 1. Collectors have been instructed to ensure the fulfillment of educational and non-educational posts as well as other arrangements in the new schools. With the opening of 76 new schools, the number of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium Schools in the state will increase from 171 to 247. There are 32 Swami Atmanand Excellent Hindi Medium Schools in the state.
School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam informed that instructions have been issued to the education officers regarding the starting of all 76 new schools. He said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, arrangements for quality education and infrastructure of Swami Atmanand English Medium School have been ensured. Due to which the craze of these schools has increased and during the visit and meeting of the Chief Minister, a large number of parents and children have been demanding English medium school in their areas. On the request of parents and children, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had announced the opening of 50 more new English medium schools in the state and also informed about it through his Twitter handle. During the meeting of the assembly constituencies, on the demand of the people, the Chief Minister had announced the opening of 26 more new English medium schools. As per the intention of the Chief Minister and his announcement, 76 new schools are being opened.
Minister Dr. Tekam informed that maximum 12 Swami Atmanand excellent English medium schools are being started in Raipur, which are Mowa, Lalpur, Shantinagar, Gurunanak Chowk, Mohba Bazar, Sarona, Madir-Hasaud, Samoda, Gobaranawapara, Saragaon, Tilaknagar. Gudhayari, Birgaon will open in Raipur. Similarly, Lal Bahadur Higher Secondary School in Bilaspur, Ambedkar School and Tilaknagar in Bilaspur, Pasan and Korbi under Podi Uporda block of Korba district and Balko Korba, Nawapara Podi, Pipardand Baikunthpur and Kelhari in Koriya district, Kondagaon, Mardapal and Kolhari in Kondagaon district. Kongur, Sarona in Kanker district, Kachari Para Kawardha in Kabirdham district, Sarsinwa, Suhela, Bhantgaon, Lavan, Kodatarai in Raigad district, Salhewara in Rajnandgaon district, Gokulpur and Charra (Kurud) in Dhamtari district, Kutru and Kurud in Bijapur district, in Balodabazar district. Minister Dr. Tekam said that Hindi medium will continue to operate in these schools as before and the already approved setup of Hindi medium teachers will also remain the same. No fixed number has been fixed for the admission of Hindi medium students. Schools can give admission as per their requirement and capability. Schools can be operated in two shifts as per requirement.
