Raipur, 19 May 2022. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that it is our constant effort to give the right of water, forest and land to the tribals, who have problems, doors are open for discussion with them. It is not possible to communicate with those who do not believe in the Indian Constitution. The Chief Minister was addressing the press conference in Sukma today.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that a lot has changed in Sukma today. There has been an increase in the level of transportation, education, health, nutrition. The income of the tribals is increasing, the purchase of minor forest produce has increased in the area. Ration shops are being opened in the interior areas, schools which are closed are being re-operated. Sukma, from where Naxalism started, today Naxalism has gone far behind. The villagers who were earlier opposing the security camp, are today demanding a security camp. Friendly relations have been established between the villagers and the security forces. He said that genuine beneficiaries are getting Forest Rights Recognition letter, in which they are doing agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, poultry, etc. The self-confidence of women has increased due to employment-oriented activities in Gauthane, women are becoming financially self-reliant.
Appreciating the initiative taken by the Sukma district administration for organizing convenience camps, the Chief Minister said that with this unique initiative, the residents of inner villages are also getting Aadhaar, caste, residence certificate, Ayushman card. Caste certificates have been given to more than 31 thousand children in the district after reaching home.
