Raipur: High School and Higher Secondary School Board Exam Result Declared

Raipur, 14 May 2022. The result of the High School Certificate Main Examination for the year 2022, organized by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, was declared today by School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam. In High School 74.23 percent and in Higher Secondary School 79.30 percent of the candidates have passed. The percentage of girls in high school is 78.84 percent and that of boys is 69.07 percent. Similarly, the percentage of girls in the Higher Secondary Examination is 81.15 percent and that of boys is 77.03 percent.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam have congratulated all the successful candidates for their bright future. He has told the students who failed in the examination that failure is the stepping stone to success, keeping this in mind, they should not get discouraged and get success by studying hard again. President of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary Professor V.K.Goel, members of the Board and officers and employees were present on this occasion.
A total of 3 lakh 75 thousand 694 candidates were registered in the main examination of high school. Out of these, 3 lakh 63 thousand 301 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which one lakh 71 thousand 539 boys and one lakh 91 thousand 762 girls appeared. The results of 3 lakh 63 thousand 007 candidates were declared in the high school examination. Out of the declared result, 2 lakh 69 thousand 478 candidates passed. One lakh 32 thousand 047 (36.38 percent) passed in first class, one lakh 18 thousand 130 (32.54 percent) passed in second division and 19 thousand 270 (5.31 percent) candidates passed in third class. 31 candidates have passed in the pass category and 15 thousand 983 candidates are eligible for supplementary examination. The results of 294 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons, Out of these, the results of 115 candidates have been withheld due to copying cases and 134 candidates have been canceled due to lack of eligibility, examination results of 17 candidates have been stopped in the category of scrutiny. Apart from this, the examination results of 28 candidates will be declared later.
School Education Minister Dr. Tekam informed that the result of high school main examination of the year 2020 was 73.62. In this way, there has been an increase of 0.61 percent in this year’s result from last year.
In the Higher Secondary Main Examination 2022, 2 lakh 92 thousand 611 candidates were registered. Out of these, 2 lakh 87 thousand 673 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of these, one lakh 29 thousand 213 boys and one lakh 58 thousand 460 girls participated. Out of these, the results of 2 lakh 87 thousand 485 candidates have been declared and 2 lakh 27 thousand 991 candidates have passed. 85 thousand 124 (29.60 percent) candidates have passed in first division, one lakh 31 thousand 549 (45.75 percent) in second division and 11 thousand 303 (3.93 percent) in third division. 15 candidates have passed in the pass category and 34 thousand 199 candidates are eligible for supplementary. The results of 188 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons. Out of these, 07 results have been withheld due to copying. Due to lack of eligibility, the applications of 171 candidates were canceled and the results of 04 candidates were stopped in the category of scrutiny. Apart from this, the examination results of 06 candidates will be declared later.
School Education Minister Dr. Tekam said that in view of the corona epidemic, in the main examination of 2022, all the recognized institutions were made examination centers, so that social distancing could be followed. In this way, 6 thousand 743 examination centers were set up in high school examination, 4 thousand 43 examination centers in higher secondary and 29 coordination centers in the state. As per the orders of the School Education Department, a total of 3 thousand 214 students including 1571 in high school examination and 1643 in higher secondary have been awarded bonus marks in non-teaching activities. According to the decision taken by the Board of Secondary Education, it has been decided not to add marks of non-teaching activities in the merit list. This year provisional merit list has been prepared excluding bonus marks.
