Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has said that it should be the responsibility of the office bearers of the society to make the society more organized and move forward. The officers of the society should unite by forgetting mutual differences and work for the society. The Chief Minister was addressing the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Sahu Sangh organized at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur today. 
During the program, Chief Minister Shri Baghel performed Bhoomi Pujan of a new building to be built in the name of Late Shri Arjun Hirwani, former President of Sahu Sangh at a cost of Rs. Did. In the program, National General Secretary of All India Tailik Sahu Mahasabha, Shri Ram Lal Prasad Gupta administered oath to the elected office bearers of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Sahu Sangh, State President Shri Tahal Singh Sahu, State Vice-President duo Shri Bhuvneshwar Sahu and Smt. Mohan Kumari Sahu. On the demand of Sahu Samaj to name any institution of the state after Late Shri Tarachand Sahu, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Late Shri Tarachand Sahu was four-time MP, President of Chhattisgarh Swabhiman Manch. In the coming time, an institution of Chhattisgarh will definitely be named after him.    
Addressing the function, the Chief Minister said that we are proud to be Chhattisgarhias. Continuing efforts are being made for the rich tradition of Chhattisgarh, its Teej-festivals, and the people here to feel proud about the cuisine. We are proud of our culture, our way of living, our food, our festival. We should celebrate our Teej festival and feel proud of our culture. He said that on Labor Day, on May 1, the people of Chhattisgarh living in the country and abroad, expressing respect for their culture on a call, ate sacks and shared their picture on social media. 
Shri Baghel said that the state government is also working for the preservation and promotion of its culture. Declared holidays on Hareli, Teeja-Pora, World Tribal Day, Karma Jayanti, Chher-Chhera Punni. Today dishes like Typhari, Khurmi, Fara, Cheela of Chhattisgarh are reaching the stage of celebrations. He said that the matter of giving holiday on Karma Jayanti was in his mind for a long time, when he got an opportunity it was announced. The fair site was developed every year at the Maghi Punni Mela in Rajim. Therefore, it has been decided to develop a fair on 55 acres of land to make permanent infrastructure, people’s stay, permanent pandal there. 
MPs Shri Chunni Lal Sahu, Dr. Siyaram Sahu, Shri Deepak Tarachand Sahu also addressed the program. State Sahu Sangh working president Mr. Haldhar Sahu delivered the welcome address. On this occasion, MLA Ms. Shakuntala Sahu, Chhattisgarh Teleghani Board President Mr. Sandeep Sahu and many public representatives, office-bearers and members of Sahu Samaj were present.
