Raipur, 10 April 2022. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today unveiled the statue of Constitution maker Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Shivrinarayan. This statue has been installed in Ambedkar Chowk. This statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar made of metal is about 7 feet high. A replica of Parliament House has also been made in the lower part of the statue. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel remembered the contribution of Dr. Ambedkar by garlanding the statue. While praising the statue, he congratulated the entire team of Nagar Panchayat Parishad Shivrinarayan including local public representatives.
Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission President Rajeshree Mahant Ramsunder Das, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, MLA Smt. Indu Banjare, MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Shri Chandradev Rai, Shakambhari Board President Shri Ramkumar Patel, Nagar Panchayat Councilors including Speaker Smt. Anjani Tiwari and a large number of common citizens were present.
