Raipur, 03 April 2022. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today presented the first woman Prime Minister of the country, Late, at village Jarve in Balodabazar district. Unveiling the statue of Smt. Indira Gandhi.
It is worth noting that in the early years of the 80s, when he was the Prime Minister, Mr. Mrs. Indira Gandhi had come on a tour of village Jarve. Here he laid the foundation stone of Old Jerwe Minor to give relief to the people suffering from the problem of famine. During the unveiling of the statue, Chief Minister Shri Baghel honored the Iron Lady Late. Remembered the personality and work of Indira Gandhi.
Praising the statue, Chief Minister Shri Baghel congratulated the entire team of Gram Panchayat including local public representatives, villagers. On this occasion Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Shakuntala Sahu, District Panchayat President Rakesh Verma, District President Hitendra Thakur, District Panchayat President Khilendra Verma, Sarpanch of the village Mrs. Munni Verma, all Panchs and senior officials of Kurmi Samaj were present.
