Raipur, 29 March 2022. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that advocates work hard in the interest of their parties. The society gets the benefit of their hard work. Government Advocates help in getting justice by keeping the side of the government in the courts. It was a legitimate demand to increase his honorarium. There was no increase in their honorarium for a long time, so it has been decided to increase the honorarium of the advocates by 80 percent in the budget year 2022-23. The Chief Minister said this at a felicitation function organized by the State Advocates at New Circuit House in Raipur today.
After duly examining the other demands presented by the addressees before the Chief Minister, assured to take a policy decision. In the program, the government representatives of different districts of the state were present in the function. State Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, Chhattisgarh High Court Advocate General Mr. Satish Chandra Verma, Government Advocate Mr. K.K. Shukla also while addressing the program expressed his gratitude for increasing the honorarium of the government advocates and discussed various demands of the advocates. On this occasion, Agriculture Advisor to the Chief Minister, Shri Pradeep Sharma and the Government Advocates of various districts are also present.
