Raipur, 12 March 2022.Taking seriously the incident of assault on children by a teacher of Duldula development block of Jashpur district after coming to school under the influence of alcohol, has been suspended with immediate effect.
According to the information received, a complaint was received against Dinesh Kumar Laxme, a teacher posted in Government Pre-Secondary School Kastura under Duldula development block of Jashpur district, for reaching the school after consuming alcohol during school time and beating the students present in the school with a cricket bat. The complaint was investigated by the Block Education Officer, Duldula. Based on the investigation report and statement, the complaint against Dinesh Kumar Laxme was found prima facie to be correct. This act of the said teacher is completely contrary to Rule 03 and Rule 23 of Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965, which comes under the category of misconduct.
On the basis of the inquiry report of the Block Education Officer, Collector Jashpur has suspended the teacher under Rule 9 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 with immediate effect. During the suspension period, the headquarters of teacher Laxme has been fixed as Block Education Officer’s office, development block, Duldula.
