Raipur 10 February 2022. On the occasion of 73rd Republic Day on 26th January, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to reserve 10 percent land for OBCs in industrial areas and 10 percent rate of land premium rate to promote entrepreneurship among OBC citizens. And in compliance of the announcement of providing 1 percent land rent, a notification has been issued by the state government amending the “Industrial Policy-2019-24”.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry from Mahanadi Bhawan, the Department of Industries in the industrial areas of the state and Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. to establish industry and service enterprises in all the industrial areas to promote entrepreneurship amongst the citizens of other backward classes. For this category, 10 (ten) percent land blocks will be reserved, which will be made available at 10 (ten) percent rate of land interest rate and 1 (one) percent land rent.
The period of reservation will be for two years from the appointed date or the date of establishment of the industrial area, whichever is later. The quantity of plot-land will be as per the eligibility rules and provisions mentioned in “Chhattisgarh Industrial Land and Building Management Rules-2015”. These amendments shall be deemed to have come into force from the date of issue of this notification.
