Raipur, 04 February 2022. Chhattisgarh Film Policy 2021 has been published in the Chhattisgarh Gazette. With the implementation of Chhattisgarh Film Policy, local people including thousands of artists, technicians and producer-directors associated with the film industry in the state will get its benefit. Under the scheme, provision of grants has been made in different categories.
It is noteworthy that on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, under the guidance of Culture Minister Amarjit Bhagat, a new film policy 2021 has been prepared in Chhattisgarh. Under this film policy, provision and incentives have been made for the production, filming of feature films, web series, TV serials and reality shows and documentary films. This will encourage private investment in the film sector. The main objective of implementing Chhattisgarh Film Policy 2021 is to make Chhattisgarh a film friendly state and to give national identity to the culture and tourism of the state through film industry in the state and to provide maximum employment opportunities for the local people here.
