Raipur, 02 February 2022. MP Rahul Gandhi is coming to Raipur on 3rd February. He will launch Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Mazdoor Krishi Nyay Yojana at Science College ground here. Shri Rahul Gandhi will also visit the Bastar Dome at Science Ground during this period. Here Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will inform him about the development works being done for the protection of tribal development culture and traditions in the seven districts of Bastar division. Here Shri Rahul Gandhi will also interact with the beneficiaries from all the seven districts and know their experiences. Member of Parliament Shri Gandhi will be aware of the culture, tradition and lifestyle of Bastar region. The doli of the adorable goddess Danteshwari Mai of Bastar and the revered Angadeva are also seated in the Bastar Dome.
Shri Rahul Gandhi will take stock of the development work being done by the state government mainly in the tribal areas. Bastar Dome will be the main center of attraction at Science Ground. Here you will be familiar with the development being done in Bastar, Kanker, Kondagaon, Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur and Sukma districts. A glimpse of bamboo crafts and furniture manufacturing from Narayanpur district will be visible in the Dome. At the same time, the women’s group will make them aware of spices and chutney manufacturing and ragi malt production. Local paddy biodiversity and cashew processing units will be the main attractions. Similarly, in district Sukma, farmers’ income will increase and the efforts made to take bicrop will be visible. Similarly, in Kala Gudi, families of more than 500 artisans are being benefited, which gives them an income of about Rs. 2 lakh. has been Belmetal in Shilpgram village, Facilities have been provided by the government to promote terracotta craft. Bijapur district has also made a mark in collective chilli cultivation. In the same Bastar district, income is being earned from cashew cultivation in 2000 acres. Here

Under the Suposhan Abhiyan, innovative initiatives are being taken in the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Centers to eliminate malnutrition from the root. In Kondagaon of Bastar, more than 20 waterfalls and natural places have been connected with the tourist circuit, due to which livelihood has also been enhanced. A 5-year MoU has been done by the Dantewada district administration under Denex, in which a total of 75 lakh products will be made. More than 150 families are getting employment from Denex. Denex has now become the identity of Bastar. The same Bastar Academy of Dance Art, Literature and Language Sanstha Badal has also been established, which has been created to protect the folk dance, folk songs, local language, literature and craft arts here. Sarva Samaj Ekta Parishad has been envisaged to increase mutual harmony among different sections of the society and the basic spirit of Indian culture, A glimpse of which can be seen here. Coffee is being cultivated in Darbha and many other villages of Bastar, due to which farmers are getting profit of more than 30 thousand per acre.
