Raipur, 31 January 2022. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached the Science College ground directly from the airport this evening and took stock of the preparations for the program of Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi there. He gave necessary directions to the officials regarding various preparations for the venue. Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo, Food Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Anila Bhediya, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar were present. It is worth mentioning that in the said program organized on 3rd February, MP Shri Rahul Gandhi will launch the ambitious Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana and Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club of Chhattisgarh government and will lay the foundation stone of Gandhi Seva Gram and Amar Jawan Jyoti.
Shri Rahul Gandhi will transfer the amount of the first installment of the scheme in the accounts of 3 lakh 55 thousand landless agricultural laborers registered under ‘Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana’. For this scheme, the state government has made a provision of Rs 200 crore in the supplementary budget. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 6,000 will be directly transferred to the landless agricultural laborers in three installments in a year.
