Raipur: Food Minister laid the foundation stone of a bridge to be built at a cost of Rs 8 crore 91 lakh

Raipur, 20 January 2022. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat on Thursday performed Bhoomipujan of high level bridge and approach road construction work on the river Mand from Lalmati Pathrai to Sarmana road at a cost of Rs.8 crore 91 lakh 76 thousand. The length of this high level bridge will be 154 meters.

 Minister Shri Bhagat said that the people of the area were demanding for the construction of the bridge for the last many years. Which has now been completed. The government of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is going to construct a high level bridge to facilitate the movement of the people here. He said that the scale of development in any area is determined by the road, bridge and transport facilities located in that area. With the construction of this bridge, people will get relief from traveling long distances during rainy days and it will be easy to reach Mainpat. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, work is being done to strengthen the economic condition of the people through various public welfare schemes. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers will now be given input assistance of Rs 9000 per acre. Farmers will also be able to take advantage of input assistance amount by taking crops other than paddy.
