Raipur 21 December 2021. Pure drinking water is being supplied in rural areas of Chhattisgarh state. The work being carried out under Jal Jeevan Mission is accelerating. In this episode, today Mahasamund Collector Doman Singh took a meeting of District Water and Sanitation Committee. In the meeting, he inquired about the progress of retrofitting water supply scheme, single village drinking water scheme. On this occasion, the Executive Engineer and the Member Secretary proposed the approval of 29 single village plans for technical approval and invitation of online tender, which was approved by the committee.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, administrative approval and online tender were also approved for providing pure drinking water through running water in schools, anganwadi and sub-health centers in 95 villages of 44 gram panchayats of the district. Apart from this, the minimum rate of online tender received for 5 single villages and 14 retrofitting was approved in the meeting. In the meeting held today, the rate of online tender for 5 running water was approved. On this occasion, Zilla Panchayat CEO Shri S. Officers of the concerned department were present along with Alok.
