Mahasamund: Survey of Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections by January 15

Mahasamund 14 December 2021. The work of survey of Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in Mahasamund district was going on from 1st September 2021 . So far , 5,81,122 online surveys have been conducted in OBCs against the target given in 551 gram panchayats and 105 municipal wards of the district . In this survey of 5,21,042 applications from 551 gram panchayats of five district panchayats and 60,080 backward classes from 105 wards of 6 urban areas were conducted. Similarly, in the Survey of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 26004 from rural and urban areasReceive applications in online survey. In this , 11517 applications were received in urban wards of the district . At the same time , 14487 applications were received in 551 gram panchayats of the district . For this, supervisors and supervisors were appointed in rural and urban areas. Thus a total of 26004 applications were received till 30th November. While increasing the date of application received by the state government, the date of receipt of application is 15 January 2022 . The applications of 25044 Economically Weaker Surveys received from urban and rural areas have been verified. Remaining 960 application verification process is in progress. Total of Municipality , Nagar PanchayatAgainst the given target in 105 wards, 11517 online applications were received. All the applications have been verified except two applications. The district received from rural areas 14787 applications 13,529 applications have been verified. 958 applications are pending for verification.

Collector Shri Singh also urged the public representatives to have a look at the list of survey of economically weaker sections handed over to them for observation. If any eligible person has been missed, give information about it and they also appeal to the people that they can apply online or offline now. Its date has been extended. You can make your application till 15 January 2022 . He also directed all the SDMs and District CEOs of the district to match and cross check the list at their level. According to the guidelines , people who belong to the Scheduled Tribes ,Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes are not covered under the reservation scheme and whose family’s gross annual income is less than Rs.8 lakh. They have to be identified as EWS for reservation. Giving top priority to this work is to be done as per the instructions given. The last date for the survey is now 15 January 2022 .
