Raipur, 09 December 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the Institute of Driving and Traffic Research Chhattisgarh at village Leopard in Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur. Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar presided over the program. Parliamentary Secretaries Shri Shishupal Sori and Shri Chandradev Rai and MLA Shri Dhanendra Sahu, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation Shri Shailesh Nitin Trivedi were present as special guests in the program. On this occasion, Secretary, Transport Department, Mr. Topeshwar Verma, Additional Transport Commissioner Mr. Dipanshu Kabra and MD and CEO of Maruti Suzuki Mr. K. Ayukawa was also present.
The Institute of Driving and Traffic Research, equipped with all modern facilities of training, has been established at a cost of Rs.17 crore on a vast area of 20 acres in village Leopard.
