Raipur, 24 November 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, during his one-day stay in Bastar, inaugurated the Think B (Technology Hub and Innovation Network for Knowledge Bastar) established in the Government Polytechnic College campus at Dharampura to encourage, promote and protect innovation and entrepreneurship. Office launched. Mr. Baghel also met the startups here and wished them good luck for the progress and success of their business. Along with this, the Chief Minister also launched Smart Classes and Smart Labs built for the students of Polytechnic Colleges.

The Chief Minister interacted with the youth doing startups in ThinkB. He inquired about online sale of local artefacts of Bastar from Gaurav Kushwaha at Lokabazar stall, inquired about their special products from Manoj Sahu at Moms Food stall and tasted coconut and jaggery laddoos, ‘Bastar Se Bazar Tak’ stall But tasted Satendra Singh Lihre’s product Jamun slice and Sitaphal shake and also ordered 10 packets.

It is noteworthy that Think B has been established to encourage the youth of Bastar who are interested in innovation, self-employment and entrepreneurship, as well as to provide them various types of assistance including financial, technical, managerial, legal. For such youth, start-up infrastructure with the help of innovation companies from the administration, encourage local entrepreneurship, help in setting up technology based business as well as online-offline including training through paper, books, audio-video Youth will be encouraged for self-employment by organizing centralized seminars, conferences, workshops. Along with this, the district administration has signed MoUs with IIM Raipur, Tata Institute of Social Science Mumbai, IIIT Raipur and Hidayatullah National Law University Raipur.

IIIT Raipur will provide technical information to the unemployed starting a startup and institutes like IIM will teach management to the unemployed starting a startup, while the Tata company will give information like the market value of the business, whether the business will be able to run or not. Not only this, experts of Hidayatullah University will give legal information to start a business. Here guidance and facilities will be provided completely free of cost to the unemployed starting a startup.
