Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has condemned the terrorist attack near village Sialsi in Churachandpur district of Manipur state. Col Biplab Tripathi, son of senior journalist Mr Subhash Tripathi, editor of Dainik Bayar Raigarh, daughter-in-law Mrs. Anuja Tripathi and five-year-old grandson Abir Tripathi were martyred in this militant attack. The incident took place at 11.30 am today when Col. Biplab Tripathi was returning after visiting Bihang Co-Post. Lagna Ambus near Sialsi village was attacked by militants, in which he and his family members were martyred. Terming the terrorist attack as a cowardly act, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has strongly condemned it. While paying tribute to the martyrdom of Colonel Biplab Tripathi, he expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families.
